Meet Federico… Fencer, Brother, Socialite
I moved to London about three years for University there. Whilst at uni I needed some extra cash and so I worked part-time in hospitality. After I graduated a few weeks ago I realised that it was time to boost my CV with some different, more professional work experience. That’s when a friend of mine recommended Tempo to me and mentioned that Monzo were currently hiring. So I decided to sign up to the platform and apply for the role. I answered the questions and within 24 hours I was invited to attend an assessment day.
Going through Tempo I found the whole experience very straightforward and stress free as opposed to other applications processes which were very mechanical. I was often left in the dark with minimal contact whereas with Tempo there was effective communication.
I ended up landing the role at Monzo and I am now on my second week of training on a permanent contract. I feel that Tempo really helped me land the role, supporting me and making sure I knew what I was doing every step of the way.
I am really enjoying the role. The culture at Monzo is great and it really stands out against the normal corporate culture of other banks. We interact with customers in a friendlier, more relatable way whilst also remaining professional. I love that we receive a lot of training, developing a deep understanding of the role and how to be successful at it. I feel like I have learnt more in these last two weeks than my entire three years at university. Plus it is a growing company and I really feel like I am contributing to that growth as they allow you to own your role which I great motivation from.
Fun fact: I have a passion for aviation. I used to fly little model aircrafts with my grandfather when I was younger.
